Hi there! You're probably here to know who I am. I’m Ana Teresa, a 20-something-year-old girl, born and raised in Porto, Portugal.
Traveling has been a part of my life almost since I was born, and I feel like I would be incomplete without it. I love spending time in completely unfamiliar places, constantly learning, challenging myself and collecting amazing memories. Those places make me realize how tiny I am in this world and how little I know about it.
I caught the travel bug from my parents, who always made it their priority to show my sisters and I the wonderful world we live in. From then on I jumped from cliffs in Santorini, chilled in hammocks in Costa Rica, got inside a volcano in Cape Verde and saw the northern lights and the midnight sun in the Swedish Lapland. After setting foot on over 35 countries, volunteering abroad and being an exchange student, I picked up some useful tips and had awesome experiences that I want to share with you.
So whether you’re already on the road or just looking for motivation to start your journey, you’ve come to the right place. It takes quite some courage to pick up and leave your comfort zone, but that's what makes you truly experience life. I hope my blog encourages you to book that ticket and inspires you to start discovering the world too!
“There are no foreign lands. It is the traveler only who is foreign.” – Robert Louis Stevenson
